About Me
Who I Am
I'm the AI and Innovation Lead at Altis Consulting. I'm based in Sydney and work across Australia and New Zealand. My remit is AI readiness, AI governance, data strategy and operating model change. It covers every use of AI in an organisation, beyond data and analytics.
I'm a translator. I can talk dbt with a data team and risk appetite with a CRO. I explain each to the other without dumbing it down.
I keep my work centred on decisions. Data and AI work should start from the decision it supports. Reversibility sets the quality bar. The harder a decision is to undo, the more care it needs. It's also why I talk about keeping humans in control, not just in the loop.
I believe AI readiness is a clarity problem, not a data or technology problem. Organisations that know what their data means and who decides get value from AI sooner, whatever tools they use.
I'm a Lucy Mentor at UTS and a dbt Community Award winner. I enjoy helping people grow in their careers. I also teach analytics engineering and data modelling across Australia and New Zealand.
My Background
I studied finance and started my career in supply chain. From there I moved into business analysis, then product management, then analytics engineering and modelling. Today I lead AI and innovation at Altis. Knowing both the business and the technology shapes how I work.
