I'm a Principal Consultant at Altis Consulting specialising in data modelling, semantics, semantic layers, ontologies, and AI-ready data foundations. I help organisations simplify their data landscape and build structures that people and machines can understand and trust.
My work spans dimensional modelling, metadata, ontologies, semantic layer patterns, and practical data governance. No matter the toolset (dbt, Snowflake, or modern BI), I focus on strong foundations that make downstream analytics and AI simpler, faster, and safer.
I'm known for translating complex data concepts into clear, practical approaches that teams can actually use. My philosophy is simple: enablement over enforcement, and real outcomes over hype.
As a Lucy Mentor at UTS and a dbt Community Award winner, I care deeply about helping people grow in their careers. I teach analytics engineering, modelling, and data literacy across Australia and New Zealand.
